EEC Announcements

[TRIUMF Physical Sciences]

Dear TRIUMF Users, Experimenters & Staff,

Please see the attached documents for important announcements regarding the upcoming Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics Experiment Evaluation Committee Meetings, which will take place on May 10th-13th and in late April respectively.

TRIUMF has established a new Particle Physics Experiment Evaluation Committee (PP-EEC) to evaluate subatomic physics proposals related to the Electron Hall, Meson Hall and UCN beam line channels. For consistency, what was previously known as the Subatomic (SAP) EEC has thus been renamed the Nuclear Physics (NP) EEC, dealing with subatomic physics experiments at the ISAC facility. The Head of the Particle Physics Department, Oliver Stelzer-Chilton, will be responsible for organizing the PP-EEC, while the Head of the Nuclear Physics Department, Chris Ruiz, remains responsible for organizing the NP-EEC. Both committees remain under the executive direction of Jens Dilling, Associate Laboratory Director for Physical Sciences.

Documentation on the TRIUMF web pages will be updated in due course to reflect this. For now, please refer to the attached announcements for information specific to each committee meeting.
