That reminds me.
I would like to run an afs client on my Linux systems.
For those of us with accounts at CERN, it might be a
way to move files back and forth quicker than with the
usual ssh mechanism, which is pathetically slow.

At the moment it seems to be broken (SL4.2):

/etc/init.d/afs start
FATAL: Module libafs not found.
Failed to load AFS client, not starting AFS services.
