Title:     Detecting Antihydrogen to test Fundamental Symmetries

Abstract: Recent advancements in antihydrogen experiments offer a novel opportunity to test the fundamental symmetries that lie at the core of the Standard Model and of the General Relativity. One crucial experimental aspect regards the detection of antihydrogen. I will review some techniques used in antihydrogen experimental setups, devoting particular attention to the ALPHA Silicon detector and to the ALPHA-g radial Time Projection Chamber. Finally, I will discuss the possibility of developing a photosensor to perform a non-destructive measurement on antihydrogen.
